Miss Linda is the director of the school. She helped establish the Family Development Center in 1975. She previously taught language arts in public and private schools for 13 years. She is widowed and has lived in Cranberry Twp. for 31 years. She has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. She loves coming to work every day and still finds her job both rewarding and challenging.

Miss Krista has been teaching at FDC for 8 years. Prior to that, she was a substitute teacher at the school. She has degrees in Health and Physical Education, as well as in Elementary Education. She is the head teacher for the 3 year old classes and considers preschool to be a vital step in preparing a child for learning, both academically and socially. She and her husband have 5 children and live in Marshall Twp. 

Miss Ellen has been teaching the Pre-K classes for the past 14 years. She will teach the afternoon class this year, as well as the morning 3 year old class. She also tutors at the Total Learning Center. She previously taught pre-school at 2 other schools in Pittsburgh. Prior to that, she was a substitute teacher in several northern Pittsburgh school districts. She was raised in Butler and has lived in Marshall Twp. for the last 18 years with her husband and 2 children.

Miss Kathy is beginning her third year at the Family Development Center and will be teaching the 4 year old classes. She has a degree in Elementary Education and has previously taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grade split level classes in Columbus, Ohio. She has been a stay-at-home Mom for many years, enjoying her 4 children, while volunteering at school, church and in the community. Miss Kathy feels it is a true privilege to be part of your child's development and growth and looks forward to a fun-filled year. She and her family reside in Cranberry Twp. .

Miss Jill is beginning her second year at FDC. She is currently teaching the 3 year old class. Miss Jill lives in Cranberry with her husband and 2 boys.

Miss Chrissy is starting her first year at FDC and will be teaching the 4 year old classes. She has a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and previously taught special education for 2 years at the elementary and middle school level. She has 13 years of experience teaching pre-school and truly enjoys working with this age group. She lives in Cranberry with her husband and twin 5 year olds, who are recent graduates of FDC.

Miss Leah is beginning her first year at FDC. She teaches the morning pre-K class and has a degree in Elementary and Special Education. Miss Leah previously taught preschool classes for 2 years locally and was a first grade teacher in Illinois. She has also taught 4th grade and self-contained special education programs. She and her husband have 3 grown children and currently reside in Cranberry Township. She is excited to be working with the children and their families and looks forward to a successful school year.

Miss Tara is a second year teacher at FDC, with previous years of experience with 3 and 4 year olds. She lives in Economy Borough with her husband and 3 children. They enjoy camping and weekend trips as a family. Miss Tara is also a Brownie Girl Scout leader for her daughter’s troop and enjoys cheering her kids on at sporting events. She is looking forward to a great year with a great teaching team and working with your children.
