Kool-Aid Playdoh                                 Home
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup salt
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 cups boiling water
2 pkgs. unsweetened Kool-Aid
Mix dry ingredients. Add oil and water. Wearing gloves, knead for 10 minutes. Store in zip lock bag in refrigerator.

Friendship Cake
Mix together 3 eggs, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 1 1/4 cup water, and white cake mix. Pour batter into small cups. Add different food colorings of choice to each cup. Pour each cup into a 9 X 11 cake pan. Bake 350 degrees for the amount of time on the cake mix.

Sugar Cookies
1 cup Shortening, 1 Cup Sugar, 2 Eggs - mix together
2 T Milk, 1 t Vanilla - add to above
2 1/2 cups Flour, 1 t baking soda, 1 t salt - sift and add to aboveChill dough - roll thin - cut - grease pans
Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees - makes about 3 dozen

Icing
1 cup sifted confectioner's sugar, 1/4 t salt, 1/2 t vanilla, 2 T or more
water to thin.
Add food coloring and sprinkles if desired
 

Pumpkin Muffins
Cream together 2/3 cup shortening and 2 2/3 cups sugar
Add to the above: 4 eggs beaten, 2 cups or 16 oz. can pumpkin,
   2/3 cup water
Sift and add to the above gradually: 3 1/3 cups flour, 1/2 t baking powder,
   2 t baking soda, 1 t salt, 1 t cinnamon, 1/2 t ginger, 1/2 t cloves
Bake 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes about 30 muffins

Pretzels
Mix together 3/4 cup warm water, 1 pkg. yeast, 1 T sugar. Add 1 T oil. Add 2 cups flour (or a little less) and stir to get the right consistency. Knead while in the bowl. It makes about 10 balls - roll into shape and form on greased pan. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with salt. Bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees.
