School Program
We provide a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with appropriate regimentation according to grade level. Many toys, manipulative as well as quiet games, are available at all times. Activities which encourage self-expression and creativity, as well as teacher-planned projects touching the fields of science, math, music, art, and gross and fine motor schools are a predominant part of a child's class session.
Field trips are of great importance in our program. Trips, such as visits to a fire station, apple orchard, library, restaurant, etc. are undertaken in an effort to acquaint the child with the community. Visits from community helpers are also made a part of the program. For the most part, trips and visits are planned to coincide with a particular unit of study. Additional field trips and visits are always considered if they will enhance a unit of study.
